MusicTalks brings classical music to an intimate and informal setting. Performed by the finest young artists, MusicTalks breaks down the barriers between musicians and audience by taking advantage of the intimacy that chamber music provides. With engaging and interactive conversation, the listener is given an experience that truly makes Music Talk.
The 2015/16 season of MusicTalks explores the Art of Voice with unique ensembles performing unconventional programs that cover an exciting range of styles and aesthetics.
As always our 90 minutes, intimate, salon-style concerts will offer introductions to the composers and their works, musical demonstrations, and a space for dialogue between artists and audience.
Experience the beauty of the unaccompanied cello, from Bach to our time. Bach’s masterful First Cello Suite set along to Gaspar Cassado’s passionate and virtuosic cello suite, influenced by the Flamenco and Spanish folk music.

Bare Opera and MusicTalks present a hilarious evening of Italian Opera Scenes! In the spirit of election madness, we will look at the original SNL sketches: the tradition of commedia dell’arte.
